Blast Off!

Hot Off The Press is our new poster for Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros.

This is for next Tuesdays’ show in Calgary. If you’re in Vancouver you can catch the band tonight at Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park.

Blue Rodeo: On A Hot August Night

Blue Rodeo hits Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on August 18, along with Great Lake Swimmers. Once again we had the pleasure of working with them to create a poster for the show.

Sounds like a good excuse to head out to TO!

 

We Spit Roses

The “Godfather Of Goth”, Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), graces Vancouver with his presence this Friday night. This is our poster for said show.

Hellcat Spangled Arctic Monkeys

The Arctic Monkeys are in town tonight and anyone heading to the show will be able to pick up this smashing limited edition Evoke designed poster. The imagery was inspired by the video for the single “The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala” from their latest album, “Suck It And See”.

Electric Owl

Our design for the recently opened restaurant & Live music venue, Electric Owl is complete. The large open space broken up by raised seating areas, steel partitions and a back izakaya dining area featuring a large neon wall installation. The best part though, our design gets to play host to one of our favourite artists next month, Paul Kelly – September 18 / 19. If you’re in Vancouver we’ll see you there!

Friends Helping Friends

“Billy Talent and Sum 41 have announced they will be performing a special concert at the Vogue Theatre on Tuesday, July 19, titled “Friends Helping Friends”. All proceeds from the show will go toward benefiting Xavier, the young son of a friend and co-worker of both bands, who was diagnosed in August 2010 with neuroblastoma stage IV, the 3rd most common pediatric cancer after leukemia and brain tumors.” Read more.

Naturally, we were more than happy to be part of this very worthy cause. Here’s the poster we created for the show.

For those people lucky enough to have tickets to either of the two Sold Out Ms. Lauryn Hill shows at The Commodore Ballroom, tonight & tomorrow night, they’ll be receiving a Limited Edition Evoke designed poster after the show!

She’s Got Soul

New 18″ x 24″ poster for Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, who hit Malkin Bowl on May 27.
The graphic was inspired by the song ‘Window Shopping’ from the 2010 album “I Learned the Hard Way”.

We were commissioned to create both Limited Edition and Street posters for Victorian band Jets Overhead‘s upcoming Vancouver show. If you’re in town catch them at Venue on April 2!
